The School of Nursing, in all locations, will transition in-person nursing classes to remote format on Tuesday, 10/26/21. In-person student clinicals for Tuesday, 10/26, are cancelled in all locations. Students should contact their faculty members with any questions related to classes.
Faculty and staff who would normally work in person should work remotely on Tuesday, 10/26.
Normal operations are expected to resume at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 10/27/2021

The Dual Pediatric Primary/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program admits students every fall.

Graduation Requirements

  • 85 Credits
  • 900 Clinical Hours (min.)
  • The minimum number of combined clinical practicum and DNP project experience hours is 1,000. Students, however, may be required to complete more than 1,000 hours to meet minimum competency requirements for graduation and certification (when applicable).

Additional Program Information

  • This is a four-year program (see the 4-Year Plan of Study)
  • Hybrid format, including blend of online and in-person classes
  • In-person classes meet on our Newark campus
