The School of Nursing, in all locations, will transition in-person nursing classes to remote format on Tuesday, 10/26/21. In-person student clinicals for Tuesday, 10/26, are cancelled in all locations. Students should contact their faculty members with any questions related to classes.
Faculty and staff who would normally work in person should work remotely on Tuesday, 10/26.

Pediatric Primary Care Curriculum

Academics & Admissions

The Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner DNP Program admits students every fall and has the following requirements for graduation:

  • 72 (74) Credits*
  • 585 Clinical Hours (min.)
  • The minimum number of combined clinical practicum and DNP project experience hours is 1000. Students, however, may be required to complete more than 1000 hours to meet minimum competency requirements for graduation and certification (when applicable).

*Pending faculty approval, a 2-credit course may be added to the program, increasing credits from 72 to 74.
