PhD Program Curriculum

Our comprehensive curriculum provides the foundational and advanced knowledge required to drive nursing science forward. Students engage in rigorous coursework, research residencies, and dissertation preparation.

Post-Master’s/DNP to PhD Pathway

Eligibility:

DNP or Master of Science in Nursing or Master’s in a related field from a nationally accredited program and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Current RN license

Application Deadline: March 1st

Application Requirements:

Completed online application for the PhD program
Non-refundable fee
Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions
Proof of RN licensure
Three essays on your background/qualifications, PhD program interest and goals, and research interests
Three letters of reference (preferably two from PhD-prepared individuals)
CV/Resume
Interview
Official TOEFL scores (if applicable)
GRE is NOT required
Statistics course in the past five years (desired but NOT required)
