Our program has been accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs since its inception in 2004 when it was formerly the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. It received the maximum ten-year re-accreditation in 2018.

Thomas Pallaria

Meet the Specialty Director

Dr. Thomas J. Pallaria is the specialty director for the Anesthesia Program and is an Assistant Professor. He is an established and respected leader both in educating nurse anesthetists and in instituting Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) practice. Dr. Pallaria co-founded this program in 2004.
