Rutgers at Camden County – Blackwood

FAQs

Rutgers School of Nursing does not admit international students into undergraduate programs.
An official English proficiency examination score is only required for applicants whose secondary schooling has been outside the U.S. in a country where english is not the principal language. The accepted tests are:

» Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

» International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

» Michigan English Assessment Battery (MELAB)

» Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE)

If you’ve received a grade of “B” or better in a college-level English composition course at an accredited U.S. college, you do not need to submit proficiency scores. Camden County College ENG 101 and ENG 102 meet this requirement.

English courses that are designated ESL/non-native, require a special support component, or are taken outside the U.S. are not acceptable. Please also note that Rutgers University does not accept correspondence or online courses.
The cost of tuition at Rutgers is currently $333 per credit for in-state students and $775 per credit for out-of-state students.
Financial aid is generally not available during a student’s first summer at a new institution. Student loans, however, are available. For more information, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Financial support for veterans depends on a number of factors. The Rutgers University Office of Veterans Affairs works very closely with our veterans to answer questions about all aspects of veteran life at Rutgers, including financial support. All veteran students should contact the Office of Veterans Affairs and the Office of Financial Aid to discuss what benefits are available to them:
