Post-Baccalaureate School Nurse Certificate
Criteria for Admission
Admission to the Post-Baccalaureate School Nurse Certificate Program is open for the fall of each year. The certificate program is designed for professional registered nurses who wish to be certified in school nursing in the State of New Jersey. Certification is offered as a post-baccalaureate program for registered nurses with a BA, BS, or BSN and/or as a minor for registered nurses pursuing a baccalaureate degree at Rutgers School of Nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New Jersey
- Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Grade point average of 3.0 or higher (Students are selected on a competitive basis therefore the GPA required for an actual offer of admission may be higher.)
Prospective School Nurse Certificate students who have never attended any division of Rutgers must complete a general undergraduate application as a non-degree student.
