If your program does not have a clinical component, you do not need to get a criminal background check.
If your program’s clinical component will not take place for several years, you will not need to complete a criminal background check until closer to the start date of your clinical rotation.
Criminal background checks are delayed for:
- Traditional Bachelor’s program
- All DNP programs
- Non-clinical programs in RN to BS in Nursing, School Nurse Certificate, Leadership Management, and Informatics
For all other incoming students, follow the instructions for obtaining your criminal background check by the due date of your deposit.
