Counseling Center
The Counseling Center will maintain regular hours of operation from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with late appointments available daily by appointment. In order to ensure the safety of our community, all services will be offered via telephone or video conferencing. To schedule an appointment or speak to a clinician, please email: counseling@newark.rutgers.edu or call 973-353-5805

Financial Aid
One Stop and Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Registrar and Student Accounting, will be serving our students remotely Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Students should visit MyRUN for detailed information about services available. Students can call 973-353-1766 ext.1 or email myRUN@newark.rutgers.edu for assistance.

Student Health Services will maintain regular hours of operation from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with limited staff. To schedule a phone consult with a clinician, please call 973-353-5232 or email stuhlth@newark.rutgers.edu during business hours. To maintain a healthy and safe community, we are not accepting walk-in appointments at this time. Please call or email for assistance. Our nurse hotline is available after hours at 866-221-9674. Please note the Pharmacy will be closed until further notice.

Violence Protection Victim Assistance (VPVA)
Offering remote emotional support and counseling services via phone during this time. Any student with a history of harassment or violence needing support can access services by calling 973-972-4636 or scheduling an appointment through email vpva@rbhs.rutgers.edu.

The RBHS Writing Center will maintain its regularly scheduled tutoring hours on a remote tutoring basis. Students can schedule either an e-tutoring appointment or a virtual “face-to-face” appointment.
