Welcome to Rutgers School of Nursing!
Please complete the steps below to prepare for your program.

Step 1: Get Started
Activate Your NetID
You’ll find your NetID activation instructions in your Admissions Deposit Confirmation Letter.
Upload Immunization Info
Upload your vaccination card to rutgers.medicatconnect.com.
Clearance for course registration will take 3–5 business days after upload.
If you still cannot register after that period, contact Student Health Services through the same portal.
Submit Your Photo for a Rutgers ID
All students must have a Rutgers ID card. Upload your photo following the instructions provided.
Complete Immunization Requirements
Submit all required immunization documentation, including COVID-19 vaccination.

Health Insurance Waiver
Complete your Health Insurance Waiver by the posted deadline.
Step 2: Access Your School Accounts
School Email (sn.rutgers.edu)
Your @sn.rutgers.edu account is the official email for the School of Nursing (not ScarletMail).
Make sure it’s set as your default inbox.
To access your email:
- Go to connect.rutgers.edu
- Enter YourNetID@sn.rutgers.edu
- Use your NetID password
- Set your time zone
MyRutgers Student Portal
Manage your student account, billing, and key services through my.rutgers.edu.

Step 3: Financial Resources

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Students are required to have a personal, functional computer or device.
Parking

Students may request a parking permit after registering for Fall 2026 courses.
Step 5: Academic Advisement & Student Support
Graduate students receive advisement from their Program Specialty Director (course planning, clinical placement, scheduling, and academic guidance).
