Checklist for Summer 2024 Onboarding:

Please complete the following items.

Let’s Get Started

  1. Activate Net ID (included in your admissions deposit confirmation letter)
  2. COVID-19 Vaccine Card: Upload your Covid vaccine card at https://rutgers.medicatconnect.com.  You will be cleared to register 3-5 business days after your card has been uploaded.  If your vaccine card has been uploaded and 3-5 business days later you are unable to register for classes, please contact Student Health Services through https://rutgers.medicatconnect.com.
  3. Upload photo for Rutgers ID. – It is required that all students have an ID card.  
  4. Complete immunization requirements, including COVID vaccine requirements

  5. Fill out the Health Insurance Waiver 
  6. School Email – Important: sn.rutgers.edu is the official e-mail account for the School of Nursing, not Scarletmail. Please make sure that sn.rutgers.edu is your default email. Access your sn.rutgers.edu email at connect.rutgers.edu.

Access campus services

IMPORTANT: The following items are necessary to complete the steps in the next section. If you have trouble accessing or using any of these, please see the Student Computing page.

  1. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) – Each student is required to have their own personal computer or functional device.
  2. Parking – For information on-campus parking please view the parking website
    Students cannot complete the parking process/request a permit until they are registered for Summer 2022 classes.

Advisement
Graduate students receive advisement (course, clinical, schedule, academic, career, etc.) from the Program Specialty Director. Students should seek advisement from their advisors prior to registering each semester.If you are unsure who your Specialty Director is, you can access that information on the School of Nursing Directory.

Temporary Conditions

Temporary conditions or injuries do not last long (typically 8 weeks or less), are not chronic, and have little or no outstanding or lasting effects. Although temporary conditions generally do not qualify as a disability under federal or state laws, the University does recognize that temporary conditions and injuries can be problematic and may adversely affect a student’s ability to fully participate in class.

Religious Accommodation
