Annual scholarship fundraising gala to honor newly retired dean, William L. Holzemer

Join us on Thursday, November 7, at 6:30 p.m., for an evening of dinner and dancing at the annual Rutgers School of Nursing Alumni Association (RSONAA) Scholarship & Awards Gala, to be held at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, NJ.

Awards and salutes

The annual event celebrates student scholarship and nursing alumni excellence. This year, the gala will also honor the career and recent retirement of William L. Holzemer, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, from the role of dean, following a decade of leadership. After a tenure marked by unprecedented expansion and success for the school, RSONAA will honor Holzemer with the 2019 President’s Award.

Additionally, two other alumni awards will be presented: Judith Persichilli RN, BS, MA, will receive the 2019-2020 Outstanding Alumni Award; Kristy Agresta RN, BSN, CSN-NJ, will receive the 2019-2020 Rising Star Award.

Raising support for scholarships

Please join the Rutgers School of Nursing Alumni Association in supporting the effort to raise scholarship funds for undergraduate and graduate nursing students in need, and to honor the career of William L. Holzemer.

All funds will directly support student scholarships. The gift portion of all sponsorships will be matched by the Office of the Chancellor and be used directly toward nursing scholarships.
