HESI A2 Information and Elsevier Course Materials Registration

Second Orientation Day: December 18, 2024
Led By Program Director

Rutgers School of Nursing strives to prepare you for a successful career in nursing.

A first step in this career path is passing the NCLEX-RN which secures your nursing license.  Rutgers has partnered with Elsevier to provide you with your textbooks and a multitude of resources for nursing students.  These resources assist in your coursework during the program, as well as preparing you for NCLEX success upon graduation. A representative from Elsevier will be at the December 18 orientation date to get you started in exploring these resources.

As of Spring 2025, students who are admitted to the Second-Degree Nursing Program at Rutgers School of Nursing must take the HESI A2 Nursing Test. This test is not being used as an admission criteria at the current time. Scores will be used to determine students who may need remediation throughout the program and to determine a plan to provide them with this additional support. The fee will be waived for students admitted in Spring 2025 only. To reserve a seat for the HESI A2 Nursing Test, eligible students MUST register: https://www.prometric.com/test-takers/search/elsvr

We will assist you with this registration and log in on the 18th.  You must bring your laptop with you to take this test and review your Elsevier resources.
