Global Health Resources

Resources & Tools

The Center for Global Health wishes to support faculty, students, and administrative personnel to ensure a successful program. These resources are available to help you:

» University Business Travel Overview: University Business Travel contains important information for faculty and staff traveling on university business. Review the Travel and Business Meal Expense Policies & Procedures Section 40.4 prior to making domestic or international travel arrangements.

» Rutgers International Travel Registration: All Rutgers faculty, staff, or student groups traveling internationally on University-associated matters must register on the Rutgers International Travel Registration Site. This information is collected so that, in the event of an international emergency, Rutgers will be able to locate, notify, and deliver resources to those who may be affected. Travel registration is not required for personal travel or travel within the U.S.

» Going Global: Going Global has multiple online resources that may benefit students as they prepare to study and work abroad. There are city and country guides that provide helpful information on job search strategies specific to those areas, job listings, cultural advice, and more. Going Global is a free resource for your students, provided by multiple Rutgers campus partners.

» Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP): STEP is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

» International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI): ISHI is a humanitarian non-profit organization that provides free surgical care to underserved communities worldwide, regardless of race, religion, politics, geography, or financial considerations.

» Rutgers Visual Identity System – Download Zone: The download site offers print- and web-quality graphics as well as other web elements to help you apply the Rutgers Visual Identity System to both your print publications and websites. When these graphics are used on promotional products, including banners, table throws, and apparel, units must use a licensed vendor. A list of vendors can be found at the trademark licensing website. Units with an existing signature may request their packet by contacting the visual identity project manager.

» Rutgers Global Centers: Rutgers Global Centers ensures that Rutgers attains its full potential as a globally engaged institution of higher education, representing the university’s motto, “Jersey Roots, Global Reach,” throughout its teaching, research, and service.
This travel form must be utilized for all travel and international presentations. The Center for Global Health is able to provide support to ensure the success of your program.
