High-fidelity simulation mixed with skills training provides students with hands-on clinical learning without leaving campus. Simulation allows students to learn from mistakes and stretch their critical thinking skills in a safe, controlled environment. These modalities help to overcome the nursing theory-to-practice gap and improve Rutgers nursing graduates’ readiness for practice.
