Bringing over two decades of experience to his role, Willy has been an integral part of the Rutgers community since 1997. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Rutgers University, Newark College of Arts and Sciences, showcasing his academic prowess in the field.

His extensive tenure and academic background make Willy a seasoned expert in navigating the intersection of technology and education. Committed to excellence, he continues to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of IT and Facilities at Ackerson Hall, contributing to the overall success of the School of Nursing and Rutgers University.

Job Duties

As Facilities Coordinator for Ackerson Hall:

  • Manages day-to-day building operations.
  • Manages access control, card swipe systems, and locksmith-related matters.
  • Submits and follows up on maintenance requests.
  • Processes room requests for SON-operated Ackerson Hall spaces.
  • Manages facilities projects

As Unit Computing Manager for Ackerson Hall and DoTNET Helpdesk Coordinator

  • Triages and assigns IT incident tickets SON-wide.
  • Provides IT support for Faculty, Staff and Students.
  • Manages IT projects
