Primary job functions/duties

  • Assists the Director with communication planning and notifying students; advising staff of any policy or procedure changes that will impact undergraduate advisement.
  • Assists Director with planning of programming and updating advising resources to include program and website updates. 
  • Provides academic advising for nursing students, conducting individual and group advising sessions both virtually and in-person. 
  • Collaborates with other School of Nursing departments (Admissions, Student Engagement; Wellbeing, Office of Academic Success, and School of Nursing Faculty) to assist with student retention and success support.
