Dr. Moscarella earned her doctorate of Nurse Practice (DNP) from Rutgers University. She’s currently an assistant clinical professor at Rutgers University in the undergraduate nursing program and she practices part-time in a primary care pediatric practice. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, of which she was the past President and current treasurer of the NJ Chapter. Dr. Moscarella was honored by receiving the Emerging Leader Award at the 50th Anniversary National Conference in Orlando in the March of 2023. Additionally, she was honored with the 2022 and 2023 Presidential Commendation from NAPNAP. She is also a member of the National NJ League of Nursing, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She has contributed to numerous writings about child development, mental health concerns, and educational concepts in publications such as the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook, Journal of Nursing Education, Journal of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Moscarella currently is on The Advance Practice Clinicians (APC) Advisory Council for Optum, New Jersey.
