Dr. Daniela Moscarella earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rutgers University. She currently teaches in the undergraduate nursing program at Rutgers University and practices part-time, focusing on mental and behavioral health. She is certified as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist and is a member of the New Jersey Pediatric Psychiatric Collaborative. She is also an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, of which she is the current president, past President, and past treasurer of the NJ Chapter. She is also a member of the National NJ League of Nursing and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She has contributed to numerous publications on child development, mental health, and educational concepts, including the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook, Journal of Nursing Education, and Journal of Nurse Practitioners.  She is also the recipient of the 2023 NAPNAP Emerging Leader award. She has presented nationally and continues to share her passion for pediatrics.
