Pathways is a pre-nursing program which provides currently enrolled Rutgers University – SASN students in other majors a clear path to completing requirements for becoming a nursing student.

This program is offered in two unique pre-nursing tracks: the Traditional Program Pathways Track and the Second-Degree Pathways Track. Students must submit an application to either track to be considered for admission. Those who successfully complete the program will transition into the School of Nursing (SON) to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

It is important to note that all current scholarship funding may not transfer to the School of Nursing upon enrollment in the Pathways Program. Students are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid office prior to applying to determine if scholarship funds will be transferrable.
