Division of Consumer Affairs Reopens Emergency Graduate Licensure Programs
December 23, 2021
Today, as a result of collaborative work between NJHA and the Division of Consumer Affairs, the Division has reopened the emergency graduate licensure programs to address the continuing shortage of medical personnel. The reopening applies to eligible individuals who graduated from a qualifying educational program in nursing, physician assistant, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, social work or professional counseling within the past six months, or who graduated prior to January 11, 2022.
Please note that the Division has determined that all emergency graduate licenses will expire at the close of business on January 11, 2022 based on New Jersey statute. A subsequent notice will be posted in the event the expiration date is extended.
