We’re here to assist you, whether you’re managing a course, accessing educational technologies, or teaching an online, hybrid, or in-person course. We’re available Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm.

Workshop Descriptions
- Setting Up & Building Your Course in Canvas
This workshop will cover the basics of setting up and building your course in Canvas. You will learn to navigate a Canvas course and global menu, create a home page, add content (files, media) to modules, and communicate with your students. - Canvas Quizzes and Setting Up Your Gradebook
This workshop will cover the basics of creating a Canvas Quiz using New Quizzes, setting up your gradebook, and discuss proctoring using Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor. - Using Flip in your Canvas Course to Increase Student Engagement
This workshop will discuss the video discussion tool named Flip (formally know as FlipGrid). Flip can be used for group discussions and group or individual presentations. It is easily integrated into Canvas and enhances communication for students and teachers. - Using PlayPosit to Create Interactive Experiences Using Video
Playposit is a interactive web-based video platform that allows educators to conduct formative assessments both inside and outside the classroom. Teachers are able to embed questions and prompts into videos from recorded PowerPoint presentations or You Tube, Kaltura, and other popular video platforms.
