Calling All Midwives. Join the Celebration!

In celebration of its 50^th anniversary, the Nurse-Midwifery education program at Rutgers University School of Nursing will host a Networking and Awards Reception on Thursday, May 23 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the beautiful Atrium at Ackerson Hall in Newark.

Join us as we recognize distinguished alumni, current students, and midwifery supporters from across the region. Enjoy cocktails and light bites while connecting with fellow champions of the midwifery model of care.

This exciting event anniversary event will also celebrate the launch of our scholarship fund designed to accelerate the growth and diversity of the nurse-midwifery workforce. This is essential to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective, patient-centered perinatal care in New Jersey, where high maternal mortality and morbidity rates and racial inequities make the growth of the midwifery workforce especially urgent. We invite you to celebrate the program’s anniversary by supporting current and future Rutgers Midwifery students with a donation to this fund.
