Midwifery Preceptor Learning Platform

Monday, April 21, 2025, 12:00 AM – Tuesday, April 20, 2027, 11:59 PM

Overview

The goal of this online, asynchronous workshop is to expand and improve training for students in the clinical setting, including preceptor education and development. In New Jersey, a statewide strategic plan to improve perinatal health outcomes includes expansion of the midwifery workforce as one of its strategies. This has been actualized by the establishment of the New Jersey Midwifery Education Project at Rutgers University School of Nursing, funded by the New Jersey Department of Health. One of the Project’s principle objectives, and the purpose of this course, is to enhance and broaden training.

Proceeds will go to the Midwifery Education Scholarship Fund.
