It’s time to celebrate the incredible achievements of our alumni! The Rutgers School of Nursing Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for the Rising Star Alumni Award and the Outstanding Alumni Award. These awards are a fantastic way to recognize the exceptional contributions our graduates make to the nursing profession every day.
The Rising Star Alumni Award: This honor is for alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years and are already making a significant impact. We’re looking for individuals who have shown remarkable dedication, innovation, and leadership in their careers. If you know a recent graduate who is pioneering new practices or making noteworthy advancements in patient care, we encourage you to nominate them.
The Outstanding Alumni Award: Do you know a nurse who has demonstrated sustained excellence and leadership throughout their career? The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes graduates who have had a profound and lasting influence on healthcare practices through their professional achievements, personal accomplishments, or humanitarian service.
The deadline for all nominations is Friday, September 26, 2025.
Please note that self-nominations are welcome but must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation.
