Stephen Pilot DNP, CRNA, APN earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2013) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (2020) at Rutgers University. He is an Assistant Professor for the Rutgers Doctoral Program in Nurse Anesthesiology and teaches courses such as “Cardiovascular/Thoracic Anesthesia”, “Quality, Safety, and Access in Anesthesia”, and “High Acuity Complex Anesthetic Management”. Clinically, Stephen works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for North American Partners in Anesthesia on their “SWAT Team” where he travels to various facilities across the Northeast Region to provide anesthesia services. Stephen is highly involved with the New Jersey Association of Nurse Anesthetists and is currently serving as the “President-Elect” for the organization. Professionally, he is passionate about wellness and mentorship in the Nurse Anesthesia community with a focus on the professional development of RRNAs.
