Mamilda Robinson is a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who cares for individuals, couples and families. She completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, and her Masters and Doctoral degrees at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.  She has served as a nursing leader in the field of psychiatry and practices in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Robinson has been a faculty member at Rutgers since 2018, and was appointed specialty director of the Psych-Mental Health NP program in 2020. In addition to serving as a faculty member at Rutgers, she is the sole proprietor of Advanced Wellness Services where she provides psychiatric-mental health care across the lifespan. Dr. Robinson is actively involved in clinical scholarship and uses evidence-based practice to provide patient-centered, population specific, and trauma informed care. She is driven by her compassion for trauma work in underserved populations and devoted to serve those in need of faith based mental health care.

 Dr. Robinson is married with children and enjoys spending time with her family.  She is passionate about her work in mental health and brings much expertise and value to the Psych-Mental Health specialty and the profession of nursing at large.
