Jennifer Short, DNP, CNM, is an Assistant Professor in the Advanced Practice Division at the Rutgers School of Nursing. A Certified Nurse-Midwife, her clinical and scholarly work focuses on advancing equitable, patient-centered reproductive and maternal health care across diverse clinical settings. Her teaching and scholarship emphasize reducing perinatal health disparities, fostering culturally humble care, and supporting community-based models of maternity care.
