Ms. Annie Pajaro has 21 years of administrative, education, and clinical practice expertise in critical care, homecare, and long-term care settings. She is currently a Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Instructor and Center for Clinical Learning Facilitator. She implements evidence-based simulation sessions in the clinical learning environment both face to face, and remote simulations adopted during COVID crisis. She attended various simulation educational courses offered by the National League for Nursing, Simulation Innovation Resource Center, and the Debriefing Assessment for Simulation in Healthcare workshop. She was a Simulation Nurse Manager of Chamberlain College of Nursing in New Brunswick and an adjunct Clinical Instructor at Middlesex County College, NJ. Her teaching experience includes: 1) simulation-based education; and 2) anatomy and physiology, fundamentals, and medical-surgical nursing in didactic, lab, and clinical settings. In addition, she is certified in basic life support, critical care (alumna), nursing management, and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Annie earned her BSN cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, a MSN in nursing administration from Seton Hall University, and a DNP in Healthcare Systems Leadership track with distinction from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Her DNP project (Abstract) was published in the Nursing Research journal and presented virtually for the Eastern Nursing Research Society 2020 Annual Scientific Conference. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society Alpha Tau Chapter, National League for Nursing, and the Eastern Nursing Research Society.
