Dr. Annie Pajaro, DNP, MSN, RN, CHSE is a nurse educator with more than 25 years of experience in acute care, nursing education, administration, and simulation-based learning. She is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Simulation and Clinical Learning at Rutgers School of Nursing, where she leads simulation-based education for undergraduate nursing students, focusing on clinical competence and the translation of theory into clinical practice. She earned her BSN from the University of Santo Tomas, her MSN in Nursing Administration from Seton Hall, and her DNP in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Chamberlain University. Her scholarship focuses on simulation pedagogy, educational innovations, and diversity in nursing education. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international conferences. As a co-recipient of a RBHS-IDEA grant, she has led initiatives addressing cultural awareness, bias, and diversity through simulation-based learning. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator, an alumnus Critical Care Registered Nurse, certified in nursing management, and holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Dr. Pajaro is committed to advancing nursing education through research, mentorship, and evidence-based simulation to improve clinical competence and patient outcomes.
