Cram the Cruiser School Supply Drive
Various Locations
Hosted by Rutgers School of Nursing Staff Council & Rutgers University Police Department
Now through September 11, 2025 – The School of Nursing Staff Council is proud to once again partner with the Rutgers University Police Department to Cram the Cruiser in support of Newark Public Schools students as they begin the new school year.
Thanks to your incredible generosity last year, the School of Nursing was the top donor, and members of our community even joined RUPD to deliver supplies directly to students. Let’s make an even bigger impact this year!
What’s Needed
RUPD is collecting donations of:
- New school supplies (backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.)
- Personal care items (hygiene kits, socks, toiletries)
- Gently used duffel bags and carry-on luggage (for seniors and individuals transitioning into housing)
- School uniforms for the Khakis for Kids campaign
How to Donate
Faculty and staff may drop off items with designated Staff Council representatives at the following locations:
- Ackerson Hall (Newark) – Liezza Roldan | lsalgado@sn.rutgers.edu
- SSB (Newark) – Alicia Boone | amb765@sn.rutgers.edu
- New Brunswick Buildings – Odalis Stahl | os161@sn.rutgers.edu
- Blackwood – Mitch Marcus | mcm287@sn.rutgers.edu
Gift cards are welcome. Please label your donation as coming from the Rutgers School of Nursing so we can track contributions from our community.
