Description
This course is designed for critical care physicians, APPs and includes practical applications in basic vascular, lung/abdominal, and cardiac ultrasonography. The course focuses on the hands-on applications as well as image interpretation.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course participants will be better able to:
- Discuss the knowledge base required to perform critical care ultrasonography.
- Incorporate the interpretation skills required for taking critical care ultrasonography into frontline management of the ICU.
- Perform 4 basic cardiac windows in Point of Care Ultrasound. Evaluate qualitative evaluation of LV EF, RV diameter, and IVC variability.
- Evaluate pleural, abdominal, vascular access.
- Interpret image-based clinical cases.

Method of Participation
In order to meet the learning objectives and receive continuing education credit, participants are required to sign in, complete 100% of the course, and complete the online evaluation form at the conclusion of the course.
