With a multidisciplinary background that includes a medical degree and a PhD in Urban Systems, Dr. Qureshi’s work bridges clinical medicine, public health, and social science to examine how structural and social determinants shape health outcomes.

An experienced educator, Dr. Qureshi is committed to fostering critical thinking and real-world application of knowledge among graduate nursing students. She has chaired numerous Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) projects and has integrated systematic review methodologies into DNP education, contributing to curricular innovation and competency-based learning.

Dr. Qureshi is actively engaged in service at the school and university levels, including leadership roles in curriculum development and program evaluation. She also collaborates nationally and internationally on research and education initiatives, advancing nursing science and health equity.
