Recently, many clinical sites are requiring drug screening of students and faculty involved in a clinical rotation in their facility. The site will be approved but the MOU will not be sent to the clinical preceptor until the drug screening has been completed and results are reported to the clinical/course instructor. There are no substitutions or waivers for this requirement. Drug screening done at other than the designated laboratories will not be accepted.
Please note: that even if your clinical placement form is approved, you can not begin clinical until you have completed a drug screen if required by your institution.
