Maryse Bouton, DNP, MSN, RN, CWCN, is a full-time lecturer at Rutgers University School of Nursing in the Entry to Baccalaureate Nursing Practice Division. She comes to the SON with 30 years of clinical and educational experience. Her specialties are population health, community health nursing, and nursing education. She is a certified wound care nurse through the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board. Maryse teaches Population Health concepts throughout the entry to practice curriculum, serving as a community expert in maternal/child courses and a course leader in the Population Health course. She has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan within the healthcare continuum. Maryse’s research interests include community needs, program planning, social determinants of health, and health equity.
