Brittany Robischon is the Director of Student Advising & Retention at the Rutgers University School of Nursing, where she provides strategic leadership for initiatives that advance student success, academic enrichment, and retention for traditional undergraduate nursing students. Her work is dedicated to fostering a holistic, student-focused environment to help students achieve their educational and professional goals.
In this capacity, she holds strategic oversight and management responsibilities, including leading academic advising services and expansion, driving comprehensive retention efforts, and overseeing the satisfactory academic progress (SAP) process across both campuses.
Brittany has over 10 years of experience in higher education, including academic advising, career development, and the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY Potsdam, a Master of Science in Student Affairs Counseling from SUNY Plattsburgh, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Assessment of Higher Education from SUNY Buffalo State College. She is an active leader within the university, with notable participation in the 2022-2023 Rutgers Leadership Academy, a scholarship from the 2024 NACADA Assessment Institute, and the 2024 NASPA Escaleras Institute. She was also recognized along with the SON advising team for the 2024 Rutgers Health Chancellor Team Award for exceptional team contributions to the Rutgers Health strategic mission.
