Description
This one-day workshop is designed for RNs and APNs who want to hone their skills in examining, diagnosing and treating children. Through lecture and simulation, students will learn how to gather a pediatric health history, utilize examination techniques specific to pediatrics, and apply common developmental assessment tools appropriate to the patient’s age from birth through late adolescence. Finally, participants will learn to conduct a comprehensive newborn exam.
