Professor Sullivan oversees the operations of the Research Office, the Office of Grants and Contracts, and the Office of Institutional Assessment Research and is the School’s liaison to RBHS Council of Research Deans and the IRB .  She has more than thirty years of experience in infancy and pediatric psychological research. She has been PI or Co-PI on longitudinal research projects funded by NIMH, NICHD, and NSF on infant and young children’s emotional and cognitive development, emotional consequences of child neglect, and served as a reviewer for NIH’s Center for Scientific Review and an ad-hoc reviewer for NIH, the U.S. Department of Education, and several national and international foundations over the years. Before coming to Nursing, she was a Research Scientist at the Infant Laboratory at Educational Testing Service in Princeton and Assistant Director of the Division of Child Development/Department of Pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her research examines how individual differences in attention, physiology, and stress responses influence infants’ emotional behavior. She also has actively worked to promote the use of technology as a rehabilitation tool in early intervention.

Cheryl  holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science from Kean University. She has been employed at the University in various capacities since November, 1993, including working at the Franćois-Xavier Bagnoud Center and University Behavioral HealthCare.  Currently, she is the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Research Services, Director of Grants and Contracts, and Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Rutgers School of Nursing.

Benjamin is a graduate of New York University (magna cum laude) and holds an MPA in Public Affairs and Administration from Rutgers. Mr. Anderson is currently the Program Coordinator at the School of Nursing where one of his main responsibilities is to provide professional-level support in the submission, tracking and management of grants and project proposals.  Mr. Anderson has five years of experience (NYU Langone Medical Center, CUNY Graduate School of Journalism) in the areas of budgeting, finance, and database management.
