Rutgers Community Health Center
The Rutgers Community Health Center, operated by the Rutgers School of Nursing, provides a full range of primary care to more than 2,000 individuals living and working in Newark, NJ, and the surrounding area. It is one of the few nurse-led, federally qualified health centers in the U.S. Operating alongside the RCHC, is the François-Xavier Bagnoud Center HIV Primary Care Clinic. The FXB clinic provides HIV health care and social services – including HIV testing and treatment, education and prevention, psychiatric care, medical nutrition therapy, and home visits – for more than 400 families.
