Are there any prerequisites or entrance exams required for admission into the College of Nursing?
There are no prerequisites or entrance examinations required for admission.

When can I apply?
Students should submit an application and required credentials by the priority application date to receive full consideration for admission and scholarships at the College of Nursing. The College of Nursing does not admit students for the spring semester.

What is the profile of admitted students?
The number of applicants applying to our Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program has increased significantly, which, in turn, has increased the competitiveness for admission. This past year the average grade point average for transfer students into the College of Nursing was 3.5. First year students were generally in the top 20-25% of their class with competitive grade point averages and SAT scores.

What is the cost of attending Rutgers College of Nursing?
Rutgers' reasonable cost combined with its extraordinary resources makes it one of the best educational values you will find.

Is the BS in Nursing Program offered as a part-time or full-time program?
Students may pursue a baccalaureate degree at Rutgers on a part-time or full time basis. The College of Nursing does not offer an evening or weekend program. The RN-BS/MS program for registered nurses is offered as an evening program.

If I want to attend the College of Nursing program in New Brunswick, will all my classes be on that campus?
Students interested in applying to the College of Nursing program on the New Brunswick campus should select the College of Nursing with a New Brunswick affiliation. All classes are offered on the New Brunswick campus for students choosing that campus affiliation.

If I am currently a student at Rutgers University how can I transfer to the College of Nursing?
Currently enrolled undergraduate students working toward a degree who wish to apply for admission to another college within the university may do so by submitting the online college-to-college transfer application. Admission is competitive and the admission criteria are minimal requirements and do not necessarily guarantee admission.

Applications must be completed online at http://admissions.rutgers.edu. Paper applications no longer exits.
