If I already have an undergraduate degree, should I still apply as an undergraduate applicant?
Yes. You are applying for admission to an undergraduate program, so you must still complete an undergraduate application. College of Nursing admits undergraduate students only once a year for the fall semester so make sure when applying that you complete a fall application. College of Nursing will not appear as a program choice on a spring application.
If I already have an undergraduate degree, how long will it take for me to complete the baccalaureate in nursing degree?
The length of time required to complete the baccalaureate program depends entirely on how many prerequisite credits you have completed before admission and to which second degree program you are applying. The College Of Nursing offers both a general second baccalaureate degree program and an accelerated baccalaureate degree program. The last 30 credits of the College of Nursing curriculum must be completed at Rutgers.

Which campus must I attend as a College of Nursing student?
The baccalaureate nursing program is available on both the Newark and New Brunswick campuses. When applying, students must choose either College of Nursing – Newark or College of Nursing – New Brunswick under the Program Choices section of the application. You must choose one campus. You may not choose both.
