Steven W. Glogocheski, Ed.D.

Director of Institutional Research and Assessment

An experienced administrator with proven skills in statistics and the assessment of student learning, Dr. Glogocheski became Director of Institutional Research and Assessment for the Rutgers School of Nursing in December 2016.

At Rutgers School of Nursing, his responsibilities include:

Before coming to Rutgers, Dr. Glogocheski served as Director of Assessment at Long Island University’s
Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Brooklyn.  There, his major responsibilities included providing leadership and oversight for curricular and programmatic assessment activities within the college to meet ACPE standards and helping manage the logistics of various assessment activities, including both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Earlier, at St. John’s University in Queens, NY, Dr. Glogocheski was Associate Director of Academic Assessment in the Office of Institutional Research. There, he oversaw various assessment and evaluation initiatives for internal improvement and external stakeholders (e.g. Middle States Commission on Higher Education, TEAC, AACSB, etc.).

His previous positions also include serving as Director of Program Evaluation, and earlier as Evaluation Specialist, at the Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House in Queens.  His research interests include social media in higher education.

Dr. Glogocheski holds four degrees from St. John’s University: a doctoral degree in education; an advanced certificate in instructional leadership; a master’s degree in criminology; and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
