Rutgers Ethnic Student Nurses Association (RESNA)

The purpose of Rutgers Ethnic Student Association (RESNA) is to foster an awareness and understanding of the unique needs and strengths of students from various ethnic minority groups who wish to pursue a professional degree in nursing. The members of the RESNA are committed to developing professional awareness, an understanding of the value additively of a diverse student body, and the unification of all ethnic minority students culturally, socially, and academically.

Activities
  • Participation in the National Conference for Community and Justice Walk-a-thon
  • Participation in and support of various ethnic minority nursing organizations 
  • Participation in nursing research and other campus focus groups
  • Participation in various campus student organizations that promote and value diversity
