The CN-EOF Computer Lab is located in Conklin Hall Room 239. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and is exclusively for the use of CN-EOF students.
The lab is equipped with twelve (12) IBM PC compatibles machines which are all connected to RU Net (Rutgers University Network). Ten machines are Dell GX 400’s Pentium 4’s running at 2GHZ. Two Machines are Dell GX 260's running at 2.4 GHZ. Each machine has Internet Explorer 6.0, Microsoft Office XP, various NCLEX RN Software and Acrobat Reader 7.0 to help download and print PDF files from the College of Nursing Web-Page.
The lab is also equipped with a high performance Xerox Phaser 4500 laser printer for high quality printed outputs. Color printing is available for students, but is limited to academic work only and final versions (no re-prints!)
Recently, the CN-EOF Department added an additional four (4) Dell GX 260's in Conklin room 240 as well as a Dell 1700 printer. These computers are available to all CN-EOF students as long as there are no programmed activities for this room.
To assist students with computer related questions, a Unit Computing Specialist is there during lab hours. If you have any questions about your E-Mail, the World-Wide Web or anything else, please feel free to ask him.
