Student Advisement and Registration
Undergraduate Student Advisement
Undergraduate students receive course advisement from the Office of Student Services during "open advisement" sessions. During this time, the undergraduate program coordinator, along with faculty of the college, advise undergraduate students on course progression and assist in any technical issues associated with registration.
Check the Student Services Announcements page for updates on scheduling for the next advisement session!
Members of the faculty provide career and industry advisement to undergraduate College of Nursing students. Students who wish to seek career and industry-specific advisement are matched with a faculty member upon request.
For questions regarding advising, please contact:
Mr. Bruce Howard - bhoward@rutgers.edu
Ms. Yaritsa Villegas - villegas@rutgers.edu
Ms. Samita Mezger - samita.mezger@rutgers.edu
Graduate Student Advisement
Graduate students receive course advisement by members of the graduate education faculty and specialty directors. Students should seek advisement by faculty advisors prior to registering for each semester. Please refer to the Graduate Student Advisement List to confirm student/advisor assignments (available in Blackboard).
To access your advisor assignment, log in to Blackboard and select the Community tab at the top of the page. On the Community tab, select the College of Nursing - Graduate Students link located under My Organizations Plus. Finally, open the Student Advisement folder.
