R.E.S.N.A
The purpose of The Rutgers Ethnic Student Association (RESNA) is to foster an awareness and understanding of the unique needs and strengths of students from various ethnic minority groups who wish to pursue a professional degree in nursing. Members of the RESNA are committed to developing professional awareness, an understanding of the value of a diverse student body, and the unification of all ethnic minority students culturally, socially, and academically.
Activities
- Participation in The American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk
- Participation in and support of various ethnic minority nursing organizations
- Participation in nursing research and other campus focus groups
- Participation in various campus student organizations that promote and value diversity
