The mission of the Northeast Institute for Evidence Synthesis and Translation is to work with researchers, clinicians and managers to promote the development and dissemination of evidence-based "best practices" in critical areas of healthcare. The center is a collaborating center of the international Joanna Briggs Institute.

New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing is a research and development organization that endeavors to provide objective information about the nursing workforce in New Jersey to serve as a basis for policy development, and as a catalyst for the implementation of innovation in nursing education, practice, and research models.
