SON Alumni Association Recognized University-wide With Philanthropy Award
The SON Alumni Association has been awarded the Rutgers University AA Philanthropy Award, recognizing the group's excellence in fostering philanthropy to Rutgers University and the School of Nursing.
The Alumni Association reshaped its annual alumni dinner into a formal black-tie Scholarship and Awards Gala honoring outstanding nursing alumni in the healthcare profession, awarded scholarships to current nursing students, and became the most successful philanthropic event in the association’s history. The award winning event raised more than $7,000 in scholarship funds, an achievement sure to inspire future philanthropy in the years to come.
We invite experienced nurses, new graduate RNs, and a nursing recruiter to share their best advice and wisdom with the upperclassmen nursing students.
