RN to BS in Nursing Program

Application Deadline

The RN to BS in Nursing Program admits new students annually for the Fall term. It is recommended prospective students complete the online application and submit corresponding documents and credentials before February 1. After the February 1st deadline, RN to BS in Nursing Program applications will remain open until May 1 and program admission will be considered on a rolling basis in the order the application and supporting documents are received. Applications will not be considered for review until all required documents are received including proof of nursing licensure* and official transcripts from all schools, colleges, and universities attended.*

*Students currently enrolled in an Associate degree or Diploma nursing program but will complete the program and pass NCLEX after the program application deadline are encouraged to apply. The final official school transcript stating the degree was earned and copy of a New Jersey registered nursing license is required to start and/or continue the program.

Prospective RN to BS students who have never attended any division of Rutgers must complete a general undergraduate application.
Below please find detailed instructions to help with navigating the application.

Prior Rutgers University students should use the Re-enrollment Application (not the General Undergraduate Admissions Application): View Re-enrollment instructions
